Well Uncle David, you have been an inspiration to me. You were instrumental in helping me in my career path - a decision I have never regretted. You are also the person behind my love of Hawaiian Music. Thank you for that.

Uncle David, my memories of you include:
Waiting for the Greenline bus to see you at Dartford in the 1960s with Nan; 
Talking about steam trains with you when I was in my Teens;
Julie and I remember you telling us the history of the Golden Valley Railway, and the workings of Madley Earth Satellite Station in our 20s;
Your creative story ideas for me in my 50s,
These are things that spring to mind when I think of you. Thank you for all these memories.
